Support These Organizations Focused On Reproductive Rights

Reproductive health is a racial justice issue. Black-founded organizations are on the ground fighting for our rights and providing care in communities.

As the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade will have a great negative impact on all women and communities, Giving Gap recognizes the potential for there to be an even greater impact on Black women and communities.

The states where abortion bans are taking effect have some of the highest Black populations in the country. Black women are 3 to 4 times more likely to die during childbirth — numbers we fear will only increase when women are forced to give birth despite their life circumstances or risk to their health. Experts believe that forced births could lead to a 33% increase in the number of pregnancy-related deaths among Black women .

Black-founded women's and reproductive health organizations need our help more than ever. Can you help close the gap for reproductive justice?

Support these organizations today, and tomorrow, until all women have the right to make choices for their own bodies.
